Grey Bird

Grey Bird

The grey bird

Perched high above

The cater’s lake of blue

So often we judge a bird by color

Grey as old,  colorless and incapable

Yet this bird sits in a tree above a high lake

That sits above a mountain that is usually snow covered

He adds to the beauty of the blue and green

If only the other more colorful birds

Would learn this one truth

That avian has been

To the top of the

Mountain and

Decided to

Stay

  1. In art gray lets other colors sing. Without gray we would not know the brilliance of the other colors around it. Therefore gray might not be the attention getter, however it compliments the world around it and is strong and powerful and can sit high and proud. Sometimes I like being gray.
