Delicate Cage
Delicate Cage
Life as I know it
Has definition around the edges
Yet freedom keeps me sane enough
To know definition is no barrier the brave
I cannot deny the part of me I cannot hide
Yet living in this delicate cage remains
The kindest gift life has endowed
It is a bittersweet surrender
Accepting reality
And making the
Most of time
And proximity
On the photograph : There is a delicate bloom hidden inside the thorn cage. And your poem likens your body to the cage you are accepting. There is mystery here to me ; if anyone is open and makes themselves visable, I think it must be you.
That is the truth. Accepting reality…then doing going and being.
