The Eye of a Rogue

Eye of a Rogue

The eye never closes

Rest not you wanderer

Seeker of sublime truth

Nothing can keep you bound

At least not for long while longing

I challenge myself every day to find life

The eye of a rogue never sleeps long or well

Every drop of beauty flows past too fast

Yet every drop is seen and cherished

No life is too small to feel

So I stand like a boulder

In a river of hope

Tasting love in

Small doses

  1. How wonderfully the boulder and water looks like an eye. I enjoyed the metaphoric use and the implications of self…so much to ponder.
