To find this spot in the woods
The creek bed is rocky and fern lined
Fallen giants are moss covered enigmas of power
Light is reflected and refracted dancing in the shadows
Gentle feelings of rediscovering the placid spot
With one whose keen eye and steady hand
Will preserve the scene forever
By turning rough canvas
Into my dreams
